Can this built-in Cab Sim be taken off?

Or at least add our own IRs.
Either way, this is a sweet freebie!

I really like the clean amp. I was playing with my vintage Princeton Reverb earlier today then switched right over to the clean amp here, and with some slight adjustments to the tone knobs and a tiny bit of drive, got right in the ballpark of the real amp. It's the pick dynamics on that model I'm most impressed with.
The drive amps felt a bit too strident in the high end for my tastes, but I didn't spend a lot of time with either. Anyway, very nice freebie, thanks!

Mmmm...The clean sounds in this one are very good...
I've used it on a couple of rhythm guitar tracks and it sounded great !
I used it with an additional cabinet simulator, but being able to load your own IR's directly would be a winner

You may want to adjust the tone control to remove some of the high end: it' sets the cutoff of the high cut filter at the end of the signal chain. It's a bit like the control that some FRFR cabinets offer to blend between guitar-style cab response and full range response.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:The drive amps felt a bit too strident in the high end for my tastes, but I didn't spend a lot of time with either. While the post filter cannot be deactivated, if you set the tone control to its maximum and maybe add a little bit of treble, you can get very interesting results with a third party cabinet simulator.digitalboytn wrote:I used it with an additional cabinet simulator, but being able to load your own IR's directly would be a winner

I actually dialed the tone back with the tone controls flat...
I used the Classic Drive Amp and I brought the drive and gain controls back a bit because it was for some rhythm guitar tracks...
It sounded fine with just a touch of compression...
But having access to the cabinet to load IR's would be very cool

The built-in cabinet does not use IRs in the first place.digitalboytn wrote: But having access to the cabinet to load IR's would be very cool

These Free Amps have great tonality. I pre-amped
Axiom with the Classic Clean Drive, full bass, no mids,
reduced the tone, adjusted drive/treble, when using Axiom's
Big Blue Double preset. Delightfully dark ambience!
Cheers
