[Solved] Waveform 9 problem recognize external hard drive raspberry pi3

I, have a problem with wavoform 9 on raspberry pi3 (Raspbian Stretch 9 and Ubuntu mate 16.04 arm version) and scan a recognize loop on external hard drive. But wavoform 9 can read file on external hard disc ? many thanks for your help me

It should be able to if the volume is recognised by the OS file manager?
Have you tried adding the external location to the Loop Database in the "File Locations" settings tab?

hello and thanks for the timely response .... Raspbian stretch and ubuntu mate recognize and open regularly the external hard disk toshiba. The problem is that waveform in the loop scan section does not see the external hard disk position.

Have you tried looking for the attached drive in the "/media" path?
It might be that it's just not picking up the alias to it?

I will do this test to see if waveform 9 sees the external hard drive from that section and location, thanks for the advice
