Propellerheads spend so much time trying to get cute with sales and marketing, and damn near ignore meaningfully working on the APP to make it more appealing.

I'm getting further and further away from it, and I'm quite disappointed, however there's no one but Propellerheads (and perhaps some misguided voices) to blame.

And this trainwreck of the idea of putting resources in redefining the GUI so people with their tiny monitors can run 4k Reason is NOT going to help Propellerheads bottom line - get a bigger monitor thats your solution. Work on the program with the features that matter to most.

Sorry for not subscribing to hive mind, I look at things my way and more often get it absolutely right.

But ya, if you love Rewards and the lack of profitable direction from Props, speak it brother!

Just tired of seeing you grabbing every thread you can bashing Propellerhead. Not that I think you are completely wrong, but it's getting tiresome and obvious, because this happens everytime Propellerhead makes an announcement.

So over in the Studio One threads we’ve got that one guy posting dang near twice a day about Presonus being a failure and the Devil for not having bigger plugin GUIs on his Win7 laptop. Then I pop into a Reason thread to see what Propellerhead’s been up to and here you’d think the GUI luddites are ruining the program and everyone’s ability to make music. Guess you can’t please everybody! :D

Haha, yes, THE INTRANCER :) Funnily enough I'm using both Studio One and Reason. Where is the Bitwig basher? I mean, I use Bitwig too :)

Oh poor you, you have such a tough life having to read my occasional observations ... here's a tissue. {{{}}}

I'm neutral if you ever bothered to read anything from me, so its obvious you're just whining to whine. There's just a wealth of fanboys who hate the fact that someone can both praise and criticize, yet make perfect sense.

Tough life? Apparently your are the one having occasional breakdowns, feeling you have the urge to whine over the same things over and over again.

You had written in another post "I spent 12+ years emailing props, spending hours upon hours creating killer photoshopped gui perfectly workable, all down the drain when props shut down their forum (another bad move, but that's for another day and another dead horse)."

So basically you're mad now because they didn't make you part of the team.

Hear hear! If only we could figure out a way to get the sales and marketing staff to stop doing sales and marketing and get back to what they are good at: programming!
Feel free to call me Brian.

Another one of these blowhards who can't comprehend what he reads then makes a fool of himself quoting what he has no comprehension of.

Pay attention here - it was about getting their GUI to fit nicely in 1024 screens (note, we're about 10 years beyond talking about 4k, which is fantastic for Reason and has no need to be "adjusted" except for noobs who want to try to run 4k on their small monitors.).

Its a 14 page conversation you obviosly didn't read, here was my very first post in that thread:
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=504361&start=15#p7071989
I don't find Reason's graphics capability a hindrance anymore now that we have 4k. However its borderline horrible constantly playing musical chairs with 3 windows <=1080p.

43" 4k at 100%, 10+ sequencer lanes, 10+ mixer channels, 3 side-by-side racks (and I hate Reasons' file browser but its showing as some people use it). Incredibly workable and quite easy on the eyes.
...and that comment was also in the context of how insanely unprofessional and idiotic it was of Propellerheads to erase the greatest resource of information users had for Reason, which wiped out years of contribution and hard work for pure lack of concern and laziness on Props part.

Got it? I doubt it.

I love Reason, it might not be the best DAW for a lot of stuff, but IMHO it's
one of the most fun to use. I certainly think any chance for me to save money is
always good. Although, TBH, I rarely buy stuff from the shop except during a good sale
anyway, and then only utilities and effects. Not into the instruments for some reason,
even though I know there are some good ones.

Absolutely. Just these fanboys who apparently rabidly follow me around hate hearing any criticism, they want people to pretend everything is peachy and amazing which its clearly debatable. Honesty about these poor decisions from Propellerhead is the only thing that will make it better for their users and their bottom line, not pretendland.
