Just curious. Which of the two are you stronger at, writing lyrics or writing music?

What if you're ambiguous (err, ambidextrous) and suck at both?
Interesting way of sneaking a psych test (researching the alleged left/right brain duality, are we?) onto the board, btw.

Best way to test handed-ness is to ask people what hand they masturbate with
(writing lyrics is a specialised language skill that does not necessarily measure language skill in general )

I'm right handed, but my wanking hand is the left. That way I have my right hand available for scrolling through the online video's.woggle wrote:Best way to test handed-ness is to ask people what hand they masturbate with
No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!

that's different though - that's a specialised "training effect" and given the unnatural action for a right hander might put you in danger of a repetitive strain injuryNielzie wrote:I'm right handed, but my wanking hand is the left. I consider myself to be stronger at writing music than lyrics.
Also, I'm right-handed.

lyrics and music are both creative endeavours, in the left brain/right brain theory they would both exist on the same hemisphere.

Most people who think they are ambidextrous are actually cross-dominant. The former is very rare.

I answered right-handed but in fact I can do a number of things (not write, however) with the left hand. Eat, drink, move stuff around/grasp, bat left-handed. Throws right/bats both, it will say on the baseball card.
I actually had far more ease writing poetry/lyrics than writing music. But I guess that's because music takes a bit more concrete knowledge to pull off.
If you can't do one or do either, maybe the science you want would go into why is there no presence of talent for the thing.

That's odd, no one has voted for
"Are you right-handed and stronger at writing lyrics?" yet.

Right handed and I feel I'm stronger at writing lyrics than music. I have a lot of room for improvement musically but I've been happy with my poetry for several years now.
