Hello Everybody,

BBE Sound and Plugivery Development proudly announce Stomp Board. Available now for an incredible $29 intro price in AAX, AU, VST and VST3 format, 32/64-bit for Windows and macOS. A standalone application and plug-in set containing the host “Stomp Board” with an integrated amp simulator, and 8 premium modelled effect plug-ins from the original BBE Stomp Ware classics.

Image

Stomp Board acts as a host application/plug-in for 8 guitar effect pedals taken from the original “Stomp Ware” classics and which can be unlimitedly loaded and chained in any order via simple drag/drop operation.

It includes a dedicated and finely tuned Gate, 4 integrated Amps to get you up and rocking from the start, a tilt style Tone control for global EQ setting and inbuilt spring reverb alongside input and output knobs and gain staging metering view.

Each pedal is available separately outside of the Stomp Board host and is backwards compatible with the former Stomp Ware product line for your sessions.

Best regards,

Barry

Yes. The first amp position is no amp.

It would be great to see more videos about this.

So I've been demoing these for a little while now, and they sound pretty damn good.
Only problem I've had is I can't see the VST3 versions in Cubase Elements 9.5.30 on Mac OS X 10.11.6.

The VST2 versions work fine, but as soon as I install the VST3 versions I can only see Free Fuzz and StompBoard listed, the others disappear from VST manager.
Anybody else notice any VST3 funkiness on the Mac ?

Other than that $29 bucks seems like a really good deal for these, I'm on the fence as to whether I really need more guitar oriented plugins though. :)

Hi Jay,

I believe you have sent a support ticket a few days ago which I have replied to, and it read.

Please ensure you have installed the VST3 format first and foremost, re-run the installer. Ensure they are not blacklisted in Cubase. Set path for VST plug-in folder where the .vst3 reside (you have both VST2 and VST3 option to install for format use/support). And, re-scan plug-ins.

Here are details also regarding Cubase's Sentinel, to re-enable any blacklisted plug-ins...

Best,
Hi Ashley,
Thanks for the response, but that wasn't me that filed a ticket with your support.
Hopefully this info helps somebody else though.

The VST3's didn't show up as blacklisted for me, but to be honest I don't recall which package I installed first VST2 or 3.
I was just demoing them, and for that purpose the VST2 versions worked just fine for me.
It's a great sounding package, I especially like the Sonic Stomp, the Opto-Compressor, and Two Timer plugins for guitar.

But to be honest, I just bought the P&M VIP package from you guys last month, so I'm still learning all of those plugins at the moment (and there's a whole lot there to learn there). :D

Thanks again for the reply, I will keep these in mind, and possibly at some later date I may end up picking them up.

- Jay

These're on sale at dontcrack.

What's the general consensus on this bundle?

It's a great guitar effects bundle, just like any other from SimulAnalog upwards. You will not be disappointed, especially if you value plugins on brands and price.
It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.

Overloud made the Simulanalog stuff.

Due to the lackluster reception I almost missed out on this.

This product nicely illustrates how much people need shiny GUIs and sensational marketing blurb.

completely disregarding the stomp boxes, this is a fantastic amp sim with the best spring reverb simulation I ever came across. It absolutely nails the quirky non-linearities of a real spring-tank. The amps do provide little for teh lurvers of heffy mettel but for anyone who's into vintage tube amps, the're a feast - very responsive, dead easy to tweak and nigh impossible to make it sound bad.

The credits say it's partly Bernies code, but I really have to wonder which part of it. The amp(s) certainly pee all over the Plug and Mix ones. Perhaps Maxence Grandidier (the other coder) took Bernies code (which wasn't shabby to begin with) and turned it into gold.
" It is a measurable fact. Not my opinion. And not even subtle. If you can't hear difference in tail between Valhalla and VSR reverb tail then again change your job dude." kmonkey
