Synths with Oscillator Sync

I'm currently following along the lessons in Syntorial, and module 20 talks about Oscillator Sync (hard sync?) with a Master/Slave relationship with Osc1 + Osc2.
In the Sylenth1 lesson pack he says Sylenth has no oscillator sync.
In the Massive lesson pack he says that Massive uses a wavetable for sync.
I also noticed in the u-he Hive thread users were requesting hard sync (but it's quite a CPU intensive feature?).
Some synths appear to have self sync, kHs One, Hybrid 3 and Dune2 (I haven't looked at Dune2 yet).
I was wondering which soft synths do have oscillator sync with master/slave? (preferably not just a wavetable)
Does the master/slave oscillator sync give any advantages/difference over a self oscillating knob?

Huh? Could you elaborate? Usually self-oscillation is a property of the filter, not of the oscillators...Ranoka wrote:Does the master/slave oscillator sync give any advantages/difference over a self oscillating knob?
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

Ah sorry, I meant self sync (not self oscillation).BertKoor wrote:Huh? Could you elaborate? Usually self-oscillation is a property of the filter, not of the oscillators...Ranoka wrote:Does the master/slave oscillator sync give any advantages/difference over a self oscillating knob?
I think I read somewhere that with self sync there is an extra dedicated oscillator for sync used behind the scenes.
I'm guessing there isn't a difference in the sound that's made, in Syntorial he says the master waveform is ignored (I think it was the master and not the slave).

In the freeware world, I heavily abuse OBXD's sync. Lokomotiv as well.

Stobe2 and Cypher2 have osc sync. Hard and soft.
Dune2 too. Serum and zebra with their warp.
Solorack and cc too

Cypher has a DUAL oscillator hard-sync.Whywhy wrote:Stobe2 and Cypher2 have osc sync. Hard and soft.
A unique feature amongst the non-modular soft synths. Two separate hard-sync sweeps are possible.
