I didn't realize how tiny UNO is, til Bonedo's video.
It sure won't take up enough space to worry about.
It's a bracket-gizmo fiend's dream!
Cheers
We are glad to hear you enjoy the size of the unit. Now, while we have not tested this scenario exactly, we have tested similar set ups with Syntronik and UNO Synth and this should work well. Any MIDI signal sent into the UNO Synth MIDI Input will be able to playback through the MIDI Output. Do note, the knobs on UNO Synth also send MIDI CC messages so you will be able to control both your UNO Synth and VI at the same time which is great for stacking sounds.

I agree. a VST version will not be out of place!

Hmm ... does anyone else's order status for the UNO seem to be stuck on "IN PROGRESS"? I imagine IK is probably inundated with orders and shipments at the moment, but nominally the timeline for shipment is 3-5 days (according to the IK site), so I'm not sure whether this is normal, and that I should "recalibrate" my expectations.

Unless you ordered VERY recently it should not be. However sometimes that is not updated in real time (or at least not instantly). Please PM your order number and I can have someone take a look. Thanks!

Cool, thanks very much, Peter! I've just PM'ed you the order number.

Got mine a couple days ago and have been having a ton of fun! This is a great gateway drug, I mean synth ;) Hope to record some stuff this weekend!

I assume that it is safe to use a USB wall plug adapter to power the UNO? In other words, batteries and connecting it to a computer USB port are not the only options for power?

Yes, this would be OK too.

Thanks!

I posted this on the IK forum but thought I'd post here as well as there are probably more members here.

I'm finding it difficult to properly connect the Uno Synth to an M-Track interface for recording into my DAW. I'm on a Mac if that makes any difference. I'm using a 1/8th inch stereo cord from the UNO audio out to the line input on the M-track. I have to use a 1/8th to 1/4 inch stereo adaptor because the inputs on the M-track are 1/4 inch.

I can't seem to get any reading on the M-track when playing the UNO even with all volumes at max.

What suggestions do you have for recording the audio out the UNO Synth into my DAW?

Thanks in advance!

Best,
Rob

my guess is you're plugging that stereo 1/4" jack into the balanced input on your m-track (line input 1) - try plugging it into the unbalanced inst input 2 or use a mono 1/4" jack.

Thanks...I'll try a mono adaptor. I've already tried setting the channel to mono and toggling between line/guitar input on the m-track (it's an older one.)

Output is fine into an aux input on my practice amp so I know it's not the UNO.

Best,
Rob

it really does sound like what happens when you send the same signal to the left and right of a stereo jack and plug that into a balanced mono input - the audio cancels out.

Let us know how you do with the suggestions, @beergeekgotold
