around 15-20% I would say (mainly the guitars). Apart from that, it's very much live synthesis going on.
Most of the distortion chains for example, and many drums are actually synthesis and can be edited by you. A LOT of great wavetables this time!
I know you guys want as much synthesis as possible, and thats exactly my philosophy when creating an XP. I avoid using samples when not neccessary, and do whatever possible with synthesis. Sometimes borders are not really clear, for example with granular synthesis...
However, (multi)samples have some advantages: you can easily re-use and layer them for your own preset design. And they save CPU.

Thx a lot manuel. For me a synth xp ist mostly interesting with inhouse synth presets to also learn how to so the sounds. I understand if something cannot be done with a synthengine itself.msvs wrote:around 15-20% I would say (mainly the guitars). Apart from that, it's very much live synthesis going on.

The low intro price was for last week, now it's gone nearer to its regular price.MasterTuner wrote:Eek, the price is $34.99, I thought it was $19.99 ?Bansaw wrote:

What I'll do is give a final chance to any people on the forum who would like it for the discount price to PM me here on KVR and do direct paypal. I will hold the special price low for those people this weekend.

Is there some plan to add additive synthesis capabilities and change/draw the harmonics in differents ways (something like Mpowersynth from melda) in a future Avenger update?, I see it has a lot of nice updates and was curious about this...

I purchased Avenger a few days ago and am blown away not only by its sound but by how well thought out the workflow is when designing sounds. It simply flows like few other synths I own. I have yet to come across a situation where I've thought "I wish I could do this or that or I wish it was easier to do this task or the other". Everything is so logically laid out. A very impressive synth design.
I do have a question and I'm sure the answer is somewhere in the manual but I don't have much attention span for reading written material so haven't found it yet.
How does one adjust the Inner Dial of knobs that have them ? I can adjust them using the Mod Matrix but there must be a way to manually adjust them. I tried ctrl, alt, shift, mouse wheel, everything I can think of. Does anyone know the secret ?
