Hi does anyone know of a vst plugin that does multiple sequences and multiple midi outs? Sort of like a software version of the Polyend Sequencer or Deluge sequencer ? Especially having scale locking.
I have searched and searched and surprisingly there does not appear to be anything as a vst like this. I have reviewed B-Step and that is sadly over complicated in its presentation and I think it only does 4 channels at once.

I need a single instance because I want a global scale locker on all the sequences. My understanding is that several hardwawre sequencer can do more than one track out at once.
Using indiviudal instances require changing the scale on all of them one by one. I can use patcher in FL studio to do it but I am not super fond of patcher.
Ive tried every sequencer I can find that looks enticing and none of them are satisfying to use the way I would like. Hy plugins makes some of the best sequencers to date but still only one instance.
I started going back to the piano roll because it does the multi track thing but it too doesnt have global scale locking.
So bottom line there isnt truly a software product like some of the high end hardware out there. All I need is a piano roll like interface for multi midi out channels and a global scale lock. Randomization would be a bonus!

There are several plugins (NoraHarm, Frozen Plain Obelisk, etc.) that will constrain midi output to a particular scale. Could you use something like this on one track, and route the output to other tracks containing your sequencer of choice? That way, if you wanted to change the scale on all the sequencers, you should only have to do it once (unless I am misunderstanding your needs).

Ok so this actually helped. BUt what I had to do is reverse the workflow. I loaded up a bunch of sequencers each assigned to a midi channel. I set them to C Major scale. And then load up Chordz plugin. I route all the seqeuncers out ports to the in port of chordz and then chordz goes out to the synth. When I change the Chordz scale i almost works - but beacuse all the sequencers are sending to same scale plugin it cuts out with note input overlapping.bharris22 wrote:There are several plugins (NoraHarm, Frozen Plain Obelisk, etc.) that will constrain midi output to a particular scale. I think i will have to stick with patcher on this one as its the only thing I can get to function properly. A little complicated but now its working.

Check Audio Vitamins Stochas, I believe it has multiple layers, multiple patterns, multiple MIDI outs and also some nice randomising/generative functions if you like those. https://www.audiovitamins.com/stochas/

Forgot to mention, Stochas also has scale control and is poly or mono at your choice.

Stocahs came close but has no global scale lock - you have to set each layer independantly. Its ok I have my patcher setup. But like I said It is surprising noone has come up with a software version of some of these hardware sequencers.
