Does anyone use the soundfonts.com "orchestral strings" or "orchestral woodwinds and brass"?
Are there small violin, viola,...etc groups as well as full sections?
Are there more than one solo version of each instrument so that you can play the same part with 2 or 3 different violins or other instruments to make a small section? In other words, over-dubbing a part using an alternative version of the instrument.
Can the woodwinds section 1 and section 2 be used in overdub (are they different samples?)or do they phase when used together?
Portions of their demo track sound fairly good. Other portions (mostly wind and brass sections)sound more like an organ or something.
I don't know if that is the programming, or limitations in the sounds.

I bought them 2 months ago. For the price they're a good value especially the strings, there are smaller ensembles, you can download the documentation on their website and it is very thorough, it names all the samples used for every patch and the sampling rate.
The winds were a little disappointing at first, but after playing with them for a while, my opinion of them improved a bit. The winds soundfont does include the solo strings too.
Don't expect these to compete with the mega megabytes library out there, but I think they can be useful in their linited scope.
