New Plugin: EndeavorFX - Contemporary Color - $29 August only

Hey everyone,

Unless I'm blind, I didn't see any post about this on here and I think the tone this thing adds is pretty nice, especially for the current sale price of $29.

This is a multi-band saturator that either adds color to the current signal (Sculpt) or adds saturation on top of the current signal (Saturate), and either has a smooth saturation tone (Digital) or breaks up in a pleasing way (Analog). I'd recommend checking it out! (I'm not affiliated with them at all, just came across this and tried it out and was pretty impressed)

They've received feedback about the GUI, and the website, and it sounds like they're looking into getting a graphic designer to make things more modern. I would recommend giving it a try anyways, as the sound is there even if it's a little 'out there' visually.

The GUI is ok really - not great but not terrible. Different - I guess it was designed to provide visual feedback of what is happening to the audio. Not sure it totally works but it's ok.

I've been demoing this for a couple of days and it's definitely interesting. A bit different (like the GUI) but brings something useful to the table. $29 for August (down from the original intro price of $99) brings it close to no-brainer territory (for me). And it's soft-iLok activated, in case you want to know!

Lovely saturation on the high end in particular! Makes hihats prominant/ bright without harshness.

I tried the demo and I have the plugin alliance black box hg2 which is pretty neat but this plugin is so awesome! I am thinking about to sell the black box, but not sure yet

Some notes from Endeavor FX on GS

We have decided to extend our August sale through September! A lot of people are still discovering Contemporary Color, and we have one more update coming up, so we thought it was only fair to continue the sale!

We are planning to add a "Fan Skins" section to our download page. A few artists have reached out to us with some very impressive skins they have designed (including overdriiive's awesome skin posted in this forum) and we will be happy to make them available to everyone!

We are waiting for our final update before we send Contemporary Color to reviewers, but the folks at Audio Plugin Guy were kind enough to go out of their way and post a stellar review without any submission from us. We are ecstatic our first official review is so positive!

Reading good reports at GearSlutz too. I find it hard to believe that a developer can come out of nowhere and create something truly special in the (saturated.. *pun*) saturation plugin game. What makes this better than a dozen others?

Guess I should try it and find out for myself huh

Just started demoing this.

"Analog" and "Sculpt" mode makes for a pretty cool special distortion effect on vocals or drums. Pretty cool-sounding. Not something I'd use a lot of.
