I see Cinematic 2 and 3 in the library when are they coming out?
vol. 2 is actually just finished and currently the demosong in in the works / video
vol. 3 is just the icon, not even started yet

Oh my god! Chord Arp is the best what we can get!
And to make it perfect, preview function for pre listening the notes while editing (pitching up or down) please, like in Nexus! Thanks! :tu:

MS thanks for the reply, looking forward to Cinematic sequels.

Anyone here have ever try to use Avenger as a "indu NIN synth" ?

Post

If these nin hindu monks use saw waves, then you may be sucessful. You can even design bells with it. Or anything else for that matter

How is the demo works? - I didn't find any info on the page only the download and that is an exe file.
Is it time based, periodic noises, save disabled?

Asking because I don't have much time in this period so if I install it will run out of time before I can
really try...

Thanks

It's like Voxengo demos, it inserts silence or distortion every so often.

no feature limitations, no content limitation. But the demoversion can not SAVE, has a short noise every 5 minutes and it has to be reloaded after 30 minutes runtime.

Thanks for the infos :)

but at the moment its something completely different. It has to do with guitars, chord detection and a lot of fun

Do you have any news about this feature for us? Can't wait to use this with the chord arp

Possible bug found: exporting Midi from Drum Sequencer.

When exported midi is triggering the drums it didn't sound right to me.

I found out that the exported midi notes were too short and weren't long enough to allow the drum sample to play fully, compared to listening to the drum sequence within Avenger itself.
This is evident when you play a longer sample such as a snare.

its not a bug. Avenger does not know note lengths when in drum mode. All notes are only short triggers, like in the drum midi roll of Cubase for example. This makes perfekt sense, if you have for example a long overlapping snare line with a 32th roll. You would have a chaos of multiple overlapping notes otherwise.
So its up to your "sampler" where you play the drums with, to use the setting, that the samples are played to the end when triggered, (Avenger has this option when importing midi notes, thats why it sounds "right" to you) or open the release if there is a global one.

You can also quantize the note lengths in your DAW piano roll to a set lenght. You will end up with overlappings as a result.

The notes go straight from the piano roll, right into Avenger, and they trigger the drums there.
I wonder if there is a way I can tell my piano roll in Reaper to trigger the whole sample.

It's not a piano roll issue, your setting is somewhere in the sampler instrument. Just uncheck "Obey note-offs" in ReaSamplOmatic and it will play entire sample. Or whatever sampler you're using, check how to play the entire sample (one-shot mode is usually called).
