Hi B,

Take a few of the existing ones, using different amps, and disable all the FX and stomps - then save.
Even better, make 2 or 3 like that, then make a few variations of each - with different amp settings (incl using both of the inputs)
When you have 8 - 10 of them, record a guitar part and play it back.
Toggle between the new presets, as if you're "auditioning" sounds. Just play each one for a few seconds and move on to the next.
After going through a few - I get a horrible sound, and all the FX are enabled. I think it's like a mixture of the "default" sound and the preset that I was trying to use.
I don't know if it's better to stop SONAR (from playing) while changing presets, or if I'm maybe going through them too quickly.

So I was told - we model a reactive resistance of a "middle-ground" pickup with 10kOm. Modeling different pickups would be a huge job. We simply don't have people or funds for that right now.

Oooook, I see! Thanks for the feedback!

Again, Spark is actually, and by far, the most realistic amp sim on the market. Bravi! :)
If it can be of any help, try this:

I don't have any idea of how it works, I only know it is a passive circuit. It's light, small, and it makes a real difference, at least to me. I use it between guitar and audio interface (which is a quite good apogee duet 2, and yet the dragster improves the overall tone and feel).

Post

Do you think it would be an improvement between my guitar and my behringer umc204hd?

I have been debating getting a better interface like an apollo but maybe this radial thing would be the difference I'm looking for in an upgrade?

Also do you think these amp sims are on par with say atomic amplifire? I'm debating buying one of them vs building a super powerful rack vst host pc with midi control. What do you think?

Anyone on any ampsim not using 1Mohm hiZ is missing out and why many guitarists think amp Sims suck

Congrats to having Pete Thorn do a review demo gear video for Mercurial Spark. Sure there are some other people who have done reviews, but Pete Thorn is like in the top 3 of pedal/amp/guitar gear geekery demo review YouTube channels. Plus he is a pro touring/session musician, and he just writes great original songs for his pedal/gear reviews while doing a awesome job explaining the gear.

Oh yeah!
Pete's review sounded very convincing. Loved how he explained the tone creation process for each sound sample.

Just a small teaser. Something is cooking... =)

Is it going to be an addon for Spark?

I just want to say that I’m absolutely blown away by Spark! It is the best Marshall amp simulator out there. It feels and sounds real.

Really good job! Keep up the great work!

PS.: I have forgot to mention, but I would love to get a wah pedal integrated into Spark. ;)

Post

Oh, I forgot to reply - that picture... It is a free Chorus pedal! =) https://mercuriall.com/cms/details_freestuff

Wah in Spark - we'd love to do it! I hope it happens one day, but when exactly - I do not know.

Just a kind reminder for those who wanted to get Spark with a discount - it's -33% off at the moment at www.mercuriall.com =)

Hi folks!

Small teaser =) I am testing an early version of our new product here.
Raw sound with no post-processing, as recorded by the phone camera. No boosts used in front of the plugin.

The modelling bar will be raised yet again! Stay tuned!

Not sure if I am allowed to create a new topic about the announcement (being a member of Mercuriall team), but if anyone wants to do that, we could discuss this:
