Hello i am intrigued by the ableton session view and would like to know where i can find decent tutorials on how to record a song only in session view and not the arrangement view. Been tinkering with this and i suck at this here session view thanks.

Session view is for getting ideas down, setting up scenes and then jamming with those scenes & clips. When you press record in session view, everything you do there gets recorded into the arrangement view for further editing, finalising, etc ...

I cant help you with specific tutorials, but Live's YouTube channel has tons.

there is no audio editing of clips in session view

this is the main problem

once thats fixed...session will be viable imo

i don't understand, how do you mean 'no audio editing'..
