How does it run for you? Struggling hard on Live 10 and Reason 10.woggle wrote:Glad i bought wiggle on sale. A lot of fun and great sound. Full price perhaps not, but even at half price is good value. Sequencer takes a bit of getting used to. Could be much better with some small tweaks but i also think it might be abandonware. Which iz not a problem at the thomann sale price. Works great with multiple instances with their own sequencer settings. Biggest gripe, sequencer and sound cannot be saved or loaded separately so trying out sounds to a sequence is not oossible without reprogramming the sound. You cant just have the sequencer running and switch between presets.
Any longterm 2nd Sense Wiggle users?

Bought it when it was released. Never had any issues in Bitwig or Reaper.

No probs in Rezper on win10. Has crashed a couple of times, but no huge drama, certainly no resource issueszenophilix wrote:How does it run for you? The most I've got so far on idle was 12% CPU in Live 10 Win 10. This was using the preset Aftermath, however closing the GUI window reduced it back to zero. I'm guessing it has something to do with the waveform animations...?
I haven't given it any more testing yet, will run through it more thoroughly later today.

Tried that just now - Running inside Komplete Kontrol so my CPU doesn't totally die, 18% with the GUI open, jumping between 18% and 42% with the GUI closed. Support says to use a lower samplerate.mutantdog wrote:The most I've got so far on idle was 12% CPU in Live 10 Win 10. Now if I could just figure out why the Komplete Kontrol plugin asks me to buy it after providing a free download and no way of buying it...
This is one of those times where I start to wish I could get my money back, but keep the plugin around incase I get to use it someday.

So I've spent a bit more time with this and I'm getting some serious CPU usage out of it now. Scanning through the presets i'm getting up to 70% in Live when idle, again closing the plugin window solves this problem although this does kinda limit its usability.
I've tried switching off effects to see if that makes a difference but i can find nothing consistent, the distortion is probably the worst offender but even with all effects off some patches are still draining excessive amounts of power.
Thankfully i'm still running it in demo and haven't registered the serial yet. It seems like an okay synth if you can use it on a system that doesn't suffer these problems but I'm not sure its worth it for me with my setup.

Bit of a necro.
Just thought I'd mention that I'm in the process of slowly moving my setup to an 08 Mac Pro, and so far everything is smooth as butter. Wiggle has similar CPU behavior to Serum, which is to be expected IMO when you're this deep into wave-manipulation-type synthesis, i.e. wavetables/wiggling. Also working on getting Komplete 11 a bit cheaper before 12 comes out(not much in 12 that caught my eye), so either way that gives me the Komplete Kontrol app. So yeah, turns out that its not free. Kind of misleading, considering how hard it was to find any decisive info about it on their site.
Anyway, just leaving my experience with this synth as I go, in hopes that someday we'll find some of the Wiggle gremlins.
