Right, in the past what ive done is put my music on a cd, send it to myself recorded delivery and not open it...
Is there another way around this?
Thing is, im working on some tracks, and id quite like to send people them, and perhaps post on here their progress etc.
Rather than mastering, putting on a cd, sending it to me, only to change things on the song days later etc lol!
How can I, an whats the best way o make it copywritten so the music cant be 'stolen' ?

I'm no lawyer, so Googled a bit. Here's a page that might have good links. There's a lot of information out there and not all of it is up-to-date or accurate. Best thing is to gather data from multiple sources and check out anything that seems inconsistent further. Of course, an appropriately trained lawyer is the authority, the web is for learning the basics.
Music and Copyright Law info source link page
My search terms were "copyright law" music, and the above link was the first hit from the search. Plenty of others.
Good luck,
Meffy
[edit] On second view, I see I mistook a link to "bitlaw" for "britlaw"... :-D Oh well, if that page doesn't have stuff valid for the UK, refining the search will get you the right stuff.

actually to be fair, I imagine that with many record deals, the music is 'stolen' by the record label themselves...CypherOne wrote:get a record deal.

There are ways to do a digital fingerprint, or signature, in the wave file.
I guess you should ask the guys at www.audioforums.com
