Unfortunately I think Maschine doesn't route MIDI to effects; it has to believe the plugin is an instrument. Poor MIDI routing is still one of Maschine's weaknesses (it doesn't let plugins generate MIDI either).
Some of the presets that expect MIDI still work very nicely without it though.

There is mojo in this plug. I can't place what is going on that makes it remarkable, but it certainly is remarkable.
I ended up putting this at 30% wet on my mix bus for a project yesterday and it blew me away. I tried echoboy and replika a bit to see and they were ok, but this plugin has something very sweet that asks to not be hidden on channel inserts.
A little pitch modulation, drive the input and it does something very nice. Play around with the input and output gain.. the colors that I liked needed me to push the input, which is very much like how a BBD works... I used to make sure to put a clean boost before my deluxe memory man and a little comp after.

A really cool feature of this plugin is the keyboard control. It be quite a nice tool for creating pitch-shifting delay lines. Here's a little experiment I did:
https://soundcloud.com/timwest93/sonder
To set up keyboard control in Ableton:
1. load colourcopy (with key control turned on) onto a track
2. Open a new empty midi track
3. In new empty midi track, go to the In/Out routing section.
4. Under "MIDI to" section select the first midi track (the one with colourcopy loaded onto it) from the first drop down menu, and then select colourcopy from the second drop down menu.
5. You should now be able to control the pitch of the delay lines from the new midi clip using your midi controller.

Hi, just trying to find some promo on this great effect.
At jrrshop i managed to get -10%, so 69$ -6.9$ = 62.1$ is the price.
Or could I get a bigger discount?

That's a good price!
It's better than €69, plus you don't have to pay VAT

U-he rarely does traditional sales outside of the pre-order price (you may already know this). So that leaves options like: 1) wait for the next U-he survey or voucher, 2) go back in time and buy it at the intro price, 3) hope some other retailer offers more than a 10% discount. I'm not sure if companies like Guitar Center or Musicians Friend allow you to apply coupons to U-he products (if they even sell ColourCopy), but I got a nice 20% off Keyscape and Omnisphere 2 by waiting for a coupon and ordering from them.dune_rave wrote:Hi, just trying to find some promo on this great effect.
