Hi guys !
I've a really BIG issue with the metronome click in Cubase 7.5
Every time I open a new project the metronome count-in click is of another tempo then the one set.
If the temp is 80 BPM the count-in click are faster and then drops to 801 BPM at the recording point.
Even rose:
The temp set turns out the be inaccurate.
If I set the temp to 140 BPM the actually tempo will be something around 130 BPM.
I've looked everywhere and I've absolutely no idea how to adjust this.
So, I'm pretty desperate for help !

Overall - the click you get is dependent on time signature as well.
And also check if tempo track is active - then tempo and signature can be different at any position cursor is.
What you describe is a bit as I remember doing 12/8 - then setting tempo to 150 you get clicks same as 100 in 4/4.
When using external metronomes, like in a eDrum engine or separate metronome - it's not like daws do it above.
Daws are dependent on midi and is dependent on time signature.
Can't say for 7.5 - but later versions has setting for whether count in follow current cursor position, or where the actuall recording start like left locator or punch in etc.
New in Cubase 9.5 is own metronome patterns - which is an all time winner for me. Really cool and you are free at last to do what you want and daw can assist you, not run your way of working.
