I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to but I guess it's the automation of the ring mod amount. The side bands that are created on some of the notes on the arpeggio creates this kind of percussive tones. Then it's just drenched in reverb :)

Here is my quick mess. The more I work with music the more I know that I do not know anything about it :lol:. Mix is mess and then it become even bigger mess with soundcloud conversion upon upload. Stage is more flat and some frequencies are f******.

Since my laptop broke down 2 months ago this was made on a old but sturdy P4 3000mhz PC driving good old Win XP.

Hey Trojak, if you back your limiter output off to -1.0 db vs the normal -.01-.03, a lot of the Soundcloud degradation will hit the road. Just talking the limiter output.....ie Sonic Anomaly's Unlimited. Just hit it like you normally would then back off the output slider. Overall volume levels will hardly be noticed, but SC sound "quality" will be much less obtrusive.

it was fun to dust off Crystal. definitely some nostalgia from when i first got into this ridiculous hobby, to be sure. kind of funny how much i used "swirl" sound font back in the day. even with only the synthesized waveforms this thing really still has a lot to offer.

sadly i'm not gonna make the submit deadline, but i did have 2 concepts in the works. very versatile little guy. have a listen, or not. peace!

I have -1.5db. Thats is what I ussually use.
