Anyone know stores that actually carry this magazine ? Barnes and Noble is listed by the magazine as a source, but none of the Barnes and Noble stores seem to actually carry it.

I went through this for years, living in Mass I looked every time I went anywhere that sold mags (including NH stores because that's where I did much of my shopping, one being Barnes and Noble). I moved to Maine and found one store in Portland (2 1/2 hours southwest of me) but I forget the name...I will ask my lady friend tonite, I think it's a chain...it was a cool store but to be honest I thought I overpaid for what was in CM that month. It was my first ever CM mag and I'm not in a hurry to get more.low_low wrote:Anyone know stores that actually carry this magazine ? The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

I wouldn't mind subscribing but for the hoards of junk mail that soon follows any magazine subscription.Hink wrote:I went through this for years, living in Mass I looked every time I went anywhere that sold mags (including NH stores because that's where I did much of my shopping, one being Barnes and Noble). I used to get it from Borders, and then Barnes & Noble. Haven't bought it in years because it didn't really have anything new after a while. It was also very expensive, as an import.

try train stations maybe?
they tend to get more footfall and know that for long journeys a lot of people will grab a msg or two
might be different with it being an import over there though, may need to order copies?
any reason you need physical rather than the online version?

That's where i got a CM issue once here. Not sure how it is in the US though. And, now, i vastly prefer the digital editions.vurt wrote:try train stations maybe?

Nope. On Google Play, you can read it in the "News" cloud/web reader, and Zinio also has some kind of reader on their site. Unfortunately, you can't download it and read it as you would assume in a traditional way, probably as a copy protection. As it runs in the browser, and i also have the Google Play News app on my Android phone, it's no problem. The purchased issues stay in your account forever, of course.

I use the Zinio reader app on a Windows PC, purchases can download to my library for offline reading. It appears the app is cross platform, iOS, Android, Mac and PC.low_low wrote:Don't you need a kindle or something to read the digital version ?

The Zinio app on Android allows you to download it to the device so you can download it on WiFi and take it on a plane a read it, for example.
Google Play Music allows you to "pin" music to the device to play when you have no WIFI so i would assume the Google Play Books would allow the same thing.

In Germany they are available at some P&B book stores in train stations.
