Time Space Email Virus Warning

guys, if any of you received an email (that seems to come) from time & space only saying "please check attachment", DO NOT open the attachment. It's a trojan. Not sure if it'll affect win or mac or whatever os. Just don't open it.

The email quoted my order from 2016, which implied their data might have been breached. I've messaged them on facebook and I'll update this thread once they responded.

I am afraid I got that to and was dumb enough to try and open it cause it contains the whole correspondens from my last support ticket.

Hope nothing severe will happen from that. But if thats a trojan they must have hacked into timespace, otherwise they would not been able to answer on that support ticket with the complete content.

I was a little bit puzzled cause that ticket should have been closed, evrything was cleared, but I did not get distrusting cause of that content. I answered to that email asking whay they sent me that mail.

Really looking forward to hear more in detail about that. Time and space had lots of trouble with the new websites and lot of things dont really worked, but if now someone have hacked into that site....hope the accounts are save but wont login till this is clear.

I would recommend to dont login, dont do any buys etc. till this is cleared.

I got the email, it was (apparently) an answer to a question I asked them last year. Unfortunately my curiosity won and I clicked the attachment What a pillock!

What makes me a little nervous: I have posted them (after answering that fake male which might not reach them) another answer on a true sales email that come after that fake and postet this thread in VI forum where they usually post their deals. No answer so far

In the other forum there was the guess that there mailserver has been hacked....

This is their reply on facebook, it seems true that their mailserver got hacked:

@shidostrife, FWIW I created a thread on Gearslutz about this and copied a link to your KVR thread here.
Clearly there will be some GS members who are T+S customers who will also be caught out by this.


Edit: for unexplained reasons best known to themselves, the mods at GS decided to delete my thread there immediately after its creation. Two hours later, it's back up there again, still with no explanation from them...

I hope nothing bad comes out of this. I was lucky my antivirus caught it and quarantined right away. Might want to run a scan or two if you did open it.
