Do you keep a list of all your plugins?

Not really.
Somehow, in last december, I did a list of all the synths that I had, and that's all.

As others have stated, my DAWs list them for me. Though I do edit the FL Studio list as it can populate in quite a random manner - where different versions of the same plugin can be automatically added under different sections.

I keep a list the VSTs and audio software in a spreadsheet and update it every 18 months or so. I do it to keep on top of my authorizations when I need to rebuild my machine. My insurance won't cover any loss of software so it is just for rebuilding purposes.

I have so few plugins it would be a very short list. so I know it by heart.
And yes, I have a word file with license info because I don't know those long codes by heart - yet

I actually run a list in Libreoffice Calcs format for a specific reason. Since I switched from Linux Audio to Windows recently, i have few purchased and tons of freebies in my library. So the database is quite detailed, including types and subtypes, cpu usage, ratings, type specific properties. It's in order to throw away things after comparison. When I got my reduced set of go-tos I guess Reapers library will be enough. (Since Reaper has a plain text file storing plugins as well in it's root preference folder)
