... dissecting the .gif suggests ...

1 - multi-layer drum synth / sampler

2 - freeze

3 - video facilities (or - heehee - full integration of imagelines previous porn-related activities)

slainte 8) rob
Also looks like envelope controls for audio clips...which would be pretty hot.

How bout an ACID style pitch shifter that doesn't affect time for the wave sequencer by pressing +, -, if that makes any sense. That envelope thing looks cool.
don't be a sheep

that would be nice!
but something which would make FL even better would be a seperate ROLL / Layout that mimicked ACID as a whole where you could just drag in various loops of audio, that would be crazy!

damn,i just can not wait to see some of the things that are ahead.

FL 5 will have the best pitch shifter & timestretcher currently on the market (ZPlane Elastique). Just 'drag' any wav to the desired lenght and you're set.

See ya,

Sounds good. I think you should also totally rip-off Live's warp markers. That shit is sweet.

I was actually thinking that he probably makes as much money out of Wasp VSTi as he does out of ORION, given the captive audience [of sorts].

loop record is the only thing i want from fl studio now. it's already packed with features, it just lacks that fundamental *basic*.

but as others have previously stated in other forums, changing fl studio to do loop record is beyond the technical capabilities of imageline.

that's why it won't and can't be done despite it being the second most requested feature in the looptalk users poll.

there is too much legacy code from its drum machine origins.

notice how ableton incorporated loop record mode in their first vsti/midi version ! if your code is well organised adding it is not a problem.

instead imageline looks like adding bits of marketing fluff - features that most will salivate over but never use

but so be it. there are many new fish in the sea since the glory days of fruity.

Being a bit too dramatic now, no? :?

Teacktion2 will perhaps (hopefully)use the same algorithm :)
