I've been writing music and making stuff for a while now. I post some stuff on Soundcloud and stuff like that. Sure I get a some likes and followers but, i honestly don't think most people cares about some random guy's music. But heres the thing: soundcloud is cool and all,but i could only have limited space(for free). What i really want is people to have my music and actually enjoy it like I do. Im not trying to make money or anything. I know i can't make people enjoy it, or even to listen to a whole track but I really just what to upload the tons of albums and stuff i made so people could just download it and have it, in case they ever want to give it a try.

I know a good way to share music is to socialize and be in community with other artist, but thats not really my thing. I honestly don't listen much to new or other peoples music because i spent so much time doing music and programming. I remember in high school i was desperate for new music. i read reviews and did a lot of research and listened to as much stuff as i could, even if I knew nothing about it or never heard of the artist. That's the kind of people i'm looking for, people that are like " A free album?" " Gimme that sh!t". Any Ideas?

Bandcamp lets people download or listen for free, or there's a "pay what you want" option if you prefer.

yea I think i made a band camp a long time ago. What next tho? Do i just go around different forums and be like " Here, have some free albums"?

You could set up your own site like a lot of us on KVR, but getting listens/downloads usually means promoting yourself or paying someone else to do it ... the net is awash with people trying to get attention for their music, art, etc

i thinking maybe like a forum or something maybe for like specific types of music, like idk "video game style music lovers" or something.

it doesn't really matter really. I know it means nothing to me if other people like or dislike my music but my human side is like "what if I die and nobody heard my music" lol what ever. i posted some free stuff on band camp anyways.

Having a quick listen on bandcamp and really digging "Two Years Ago Today". Love that lofi vibe.
I mostly look for new music on youtube these days, maybe make a channel there too?

thanks! ya I never thought about youtube for sharing music before. I see its a whole thing too. i'll look into that since i also like doing graphic design and other artsy stuff too.

facebook is probably the best place to find groups of specific listeners.
direct them to your band camp page, free promotion and publishing :)

You have quite unique music. I like it! Honestly, at first I was like yeah, I don't know about this, especially the busy drum fills, but it was all locked in as far as me steadily rocking my head.

thanks! yea i am influenced by a lot of rock and heavy stuff. I've collected a bunch of cool snare and real drum samples, so it try to use those a lot. I play some guitar, so i like writing riffs with my acoustic guitar, then translating to the computer. Last year especially i started the getting into the "rock"/old video game music sound. I was pumping out tunes really fast so i didn't spend much time on production and polishing. but it works fine for me since it give me that old stripped down rock and lo-fi feel.
