Pro tip: if you're in business and want to go after bad reviews with a bit of abuse, cover your tracks better.
So this kid is a known abusive stalker then?
I would love to be able to deal with this once and for all.
If you have a name for the kid please PM me so I can report it properly?

And yet you've led me to discover another good artist. So, thanks! :tu:

Interesting thread.

While mildly impressed by this individual’s apparently unique defence of our honour, his or her inimitable fashion is clearly not something I would personally endorse and can only apologise on their behalf.

There is an outside chance this individual may be an ex-intern or ex-employee and I’ll be making every effort to investigate whether that is the case. I should sincerely hope not.

It’s safe to say the individual’s viewpoints are not in any way affiliated with Sample Magic’s or mine and I'll make every effort to have him struck off the board.

As for the outstanding implication of making those comments myself, full time music production, songwriting, running three companies and guest lecturing sadly render my online presence outside of my personal social networks, largely redundant. I genuinely wish I had the time to comment on individual cases and can guarantee I’d be just a slight more diplomatic. :hyper:

Simmo75, my team had an email from you in October 2017 where you were awarded a generous discount on Klip and upon hearing you had a unique issue with installation, were refunded the full purchase price. I believe your serial number is still also valid. So you received the plugin free. I'd say that's fair. I’m sorry you aren’t feeling it. I put a year of my time into Klip and value all opinions on it, good, bad and ugly. It can only help make our products better in the long term.

Despite having been a KVR member for over 6 years, I’m not a poster on this forum. But various verified Sample Magic staff are - and can be easily identified, usually by leaving their email addresses in their signature. It's naive to assume anyone outside of the aforementioned represent us or our views. If anyone would like to respond to me personally about any questions or concerns on any of our products - I am always available at info@samplemagic.com and will always respond within 48 hours.

Thanks,

Edit - Having read the entire thread - Simmo75 - interesting your refer to the sounds in Klip as "old". The sounds are pooled from a selection of over 40 Sample Magic packs, most of which have been released in the last 24 months. When choosing sounds for an instrument, conventional wisdom dictates one should pick material that stands the test of time, rather than be tied to one genre in particular. Either way your definition of "old" would be welcome since it's clearly different to mine. As for "buggy", few of our other users or reviewers (Resident Advisor, Future Music, Computer Music) have given credence to that. Again your feedback would be greatly welcome :tu:

Phew! Sharooz is not thesampleguru (in KVR context).

Was getting concerned that you’d lost the plot...or had one too many Babychams over the festive period. :D

Hi Sharooz,
I emailed you.

Just bought it. Very difficult to use. There are some good sounds but it's a lot of work. Also CPU intensive - I see the spinning ball too much and I have a 3.46 Ghz six core processor with 16 GB of ram.

Hi, thanks for the review. would you mind to elaborate a bit on the "difficult to use" ? I'm on the fence to buying it from VSTBuzz, but I'm actually looking for something simple to use :)
From the youtube demo it seemed easy.
My main gripe is that it doesn't seem to export MIDI so you're stuck with the packaged sounds.

Actually, you can...

Same here. I am on the fence as well. Please elaborate a bit your experience of using it, thanks.
