Angus, any chance you will add relative or takeover mode for MIDI CC Learn mode? Changing patches in a live setting is a PITA. Same question for Strobe 2. I've also asked this question on your main forum, but crickets...
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

Anyone using this successfully in protools? I updated to latest protools 2018 and it still crashes after a couple minutes. It just poof disappears and then won’t open again without a restart. I’m on Windows 10 Alienware i7. 16 gigs of ram
the synth runs fine in standalone mode and sounds awesome!
I'm Kinda a big Deal

Dear @Angus_FX, (or anyone with a suggestion!)
Perhaps you could help me with an issue.
Enjoying the Cypher2 demo very much. Went to purchase it from Roli account. I have a Seaboard Block. Selected the $79 discount option for Cypher2. It sends me to the fxpansion site/cart where i put C2 in the cart. Seemingly fxpansion is a different account than my Roli account because it won’t login. That’s ok. So I start an fxpansion account and fill in all info and check agree to EULA. But i keep getting a notice that says “Recaptcha at the bottom of the form failed - please try again”. I turned off ad and cookie blockers and such. Tried it about 8 times on three different devices to no avail.
Thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

I had the same thing. Really annoying. I got through eventually but don't remember how.liquid234 wrote:Dear @Angus_FX, (or anyone with a suggestion!)

I think the solution was in using a different browser or something with the cookies.

Thanks Mike and Stefken... have tried both Windows and iOS Safari with no success yet. Contacted Support and hope to hear back. I’ll try to post their answer.mikepemulis wrote:try the support team?Stefken wrote:I had the same thing. Really annoying. Hi all,
@liquid234 @stefken Support team are definitely the best bet for that, let me know if you don't hear back by end of day tomorrow and I'll chase them up.
@SJ_Digriz can you explain in a bit more depth what you mean there? Relative CCs for live performance tends to be best set up via the PERF mod sources at present, as you can set both the initial value and the depth.
@D_Midas - there's an update out next week (most likely - possibly end of this week depending on how testing goes) to improve Pro Tools compatibility, as well as fixing some minor UI annoyances, improving audio quality in a couple of fairly subtle ways, better support for 88K/96K project native sample rates, and that infamous memory leak.

Features requests :
* A traditional mod matrix besides the transmod system.
* Possibility to save the sequence as a separate preset (as you can with the FX)
* Possibility for multiple sequences that can be switched between

1) not likely, although other ways to view the state of it (e.g. list all modulation) is something we're looking at
2) that would be pretty easy, good call.
3) that's already there, in the Memories.. you can even switch between them using the other sequencers, or any of the TransMod sources.

Let the gods of synthesis ban the archaic 'mod matrix' once and for all.

Yeah that would be a step backwards in the evolution of mod systems.himalaya wrote:Please no!Stefken wrote:Features requests :![]()

Now we can 'paint' modulation freely on the actual GUI, and the process of tweaking the base parameters and applying modulation is one and the same. Simple and fast.
Whereas the 'mod matrix' divides the process of tweaking the parameters and applying modulation into two separate activities. A mod matrix requires us to jump between two completely different ways of scultping the sound. So, I can be tweaking the filter cutoff on the main GUI panel, but to modulate it with an LFO, I need to turn my attention into a spreadsheet-like box and spend my time hunting for mod sources and mod destinations. An archaic approach that should be phased out. It was a great idea on hardware synths but in software, I feel it's had its day.
TransMod and the 'Alchemy mod system' should be the future. Maybe mixed with some ideas of live mod preview pioneered in FAW Circle.

When I swap patches and move a fader or knob on my controller the value like cutoff for example jump to the absolute value of the knob.Angus_FX wrote: @SJ_Digriz can you explain in a bit more depth what you mean there? Patch for song 1 ... Cutoff is at 24 in the patch. I twiddle the knob a little and end up at 30
Patch for song 2 ... Cutoff of the patch is 80, I touch the knob and it jumps down to 30. But, this is really problematic with ADSR values that hugely impact the sound.
I have numerous keyboards that support various types of relative mode, takeover mode or scaled mode, but all require the target to support value change on a relative basis. For example sending 75 as decrement and 76 increment.
