I understand release dates change. But to repeatedly assure that one delay is the last one, then have more delays is a bit of a let down. I appreciate the status updates on here and at least assuring that the update is coming. I can't help but to find some humor in waiting. Whether the memes are humorous to others, I can't control that.parawave wrote: You know, this thread is a hub for interested people, to give development feedback and new ideas. With hope that it will improve the product.
Your very funny meme posts are really helpful. It makes you look very sympathetic and absolutely motivates everyone involved.![]()
My memes are not intended to be rude, but just show a sense of waiting. I've only posted two types: the Jeopardy countdown clock and the Simon Cowell photo. I don't think either is particularly harmful. And I have contributed ideas for Rapid. I believe I have purchased everything Parawave has released, so I am not just a sarcastic troll. I'm just an impatient customer![]()

Sometimes I simply can't believe how people take things seriously... Do we have to explain everything nowadays ?
This thread is about a synth we love : Rapid. We are waiting for an update because we care about Parawave's work. Parawave is late and we can't wait. The rest is just good and bad jokes. Details...
Keep up the good work Parawave, we're all here because we love your work !

Alright, no stress here. It's just hard to interpret that out of your post. Sure seemed like you want to provoke some negative responses here.GMusic wrote:I understand release dates change. But to repeatedly assure that one delay is the last one, then have more delays is a bit of a let down.[..]

Just saying, there are better ways to kill time if you're impatient. Maybe it's far too optimistic, but I think music or RAPID related content would do a better job conveying your message : )
Like this one..
..which is nice to see from time to time. Don't always have time to respond to each, but it's sure helpful to see RAPID in action, how people use it and what sounds they build.Touch The Universe wrote:This time a muli-layered key pad automating only the master cutoff, as I bring up the filter, more layers become audible.
Now, let's not start an in depth discussion about this.
As a reminder and reassurance.
Yes, the development is still in progress.
Yes, new XTs are in queue.
I will try to post screens or videos containing the new GUI, or features as soon as possible. Maybe even in the next post :)

Good to see this time you're not shooting yourself in the foot again by mentioning another date.
It will be ready when it's ready. I always assumed that.
Good Luck!

it's funny how people think because you give someone money for something it's gives you the right to be an asshole to them.

Now here we go : )
Coming soon, Rapid v 1.5, including an enhanced and re-sizable GUI with brand new color themes!
For starters we will provide at least seven themes, including some of the most requested colors.
The screen you see was taken at 200%. But there is support for 300% (4K screens) too.
Theme Preview

More details, screens of individual themes and videos will follow later.

Don't worry guys. This is a screen from the debug version. A version we use to develop. Here is a screen from the release version.

Yeah, it's a debug version, so it's not representative. Actually, you can switch between CPU and GPU.MirkoVanHauten wrote:Does the new gui utilize the gpu?parawave wrote:...
The performance at 100% on CPU mode hasn't changed much. Of course, on 200% it'll take more time to draw. But that's why we added GPU support :)

Please, do not make the same mistake as Urs heckmann of U-he, who promised the release of Zebra 3 ahead of time. And it's been more than 5 years and we have not seen a closed beta of Z3.parawave wrote:

Beyond this, congratulations for the perseverance and goodwill that the entire Parawave team has put.
