Going a bit O.T. sorry...I am now seriously considering full postponement of 64 bit and continuing with 32 bit DAW. I mean leaving it for a few years at least. Numerous reasons, these 2 plugins, a kind of working system (at least I know the quirks and work rounds for this one) and a not so great recent W10 64 experience.
I certainly am not rushing 64 bit, all this greener on the other side of the fence. Not necessarily, it can be a nasty minefield. It is a shame that so much time can be lost on upgrade/update software hardware. Mainly a waste of time and best done every 7 years or so in order to get value from your investments and enjoy stability once (if) attained.
Being on the bleeding edge and ownership of new tech and the latest and "greatest" and having a reliable machine, streamlined workflow, efficient creativity are often 2 different things.
Your music won't likely be better for a couple of missing latest plugs/DAW features/15 pct more CPU/New OS, it is just you need to realize it, like everything that takes time and some self control. The sooner you change the sooner it happens again if you feel pushed into the upgrade-a-thon vs diminishing returns-a-thon.
That reinstall and authorize thing, what a terrible, terrible process these software companies make us go through, gives me nightmares.

No offense, but, this amused me a bit... 64-bit is by no means "bleeding edge", or "new tech". May wanna read up a bit about 64-bit, and how long it exists now, and how long it takes now to migrate.Synthman2000 wrote: Being on the bleeding edge and ownership of new tech and the latest and "greatest" and having a reliable machine, streamlined workflow, efficient creativity are often 2 different things.
Anyway, back to Cell. We have a block diagram now. Wow.
