I hope they are gonna offer free upgrades to anyone that purchased 11 during this last 20% discount offer. Doesn't affect me but it seems only fair.

Bop DJ leaked all the new NI stuff yesterday on their facebook page but they've since taken it down. There's a new series of keyboards called the a-series which looks to be the s-series minus the screens. There's a mk2 maschine micro. There's a mk2 s88. 4 versions of K12, not sure on the differences. Oh, and new traktor software and hardware.

I'm gonna hazard a guess that the one on the right is Komplete 12 Symphonic. The whiteness of the cover makes it look distinctly different to the other three, so possibly it will be a collection of the full symphonic series without all the other stuff from Ultimate.
It would make sense to have a side product for the orchestral stuff rather than another higher tier than Ultimate (which is defined as "the best achievable or imaginable of its kind").

Yeah, saw these at the VI control forum link shared by Andrew on the previous page. Thanks for embedding them directly, m-ac.
Interesting stuff. I am a little more curious about Maschine Mikro MK3 (apart from K12, content-wise), as I am interested in Maschine but cannot afford the higher versions.

Couldn't agree more. That would hopefully bring down the price of the standard-Ultimate version if I call it so for now.mutantdog wrote: It would make sense to have a side product for the orchestral stuff rather than another higher tier than Ultimate (which is defined as "the best achievable or imaginable of its kind").

If you're registered on that forum the images are much bigger, although the second "ultimate" doesn't have anything different that I can discern in terms of wording.LoveEnigma18 wrote:Yeah, saw these at the VI control forum link shared by Andrew on the previous page. I can't lie to you about your chances, but... you have my sympathies.

It appears that we will have to wait a bit longer for Massive X
https://www.native-instruments.com/en/p ... massive-x/
It says February 2019
It aslo says "rebirth of a legend" , "a next generation sound engine, state of the art components, and new effects" and "MASSIVE X is an addition to the MASSIVE family, and will exist side by side with the original instrument."

You may think you can fly ... but you better not try
