That information is classified - but it's a really long and unfortunate story.

I was also disappointed in K6's interface not getting a major overhaul (yet). Trying to deal with big instruments with lots of samples is often really painful. But then I noticed Creator Tools, I don't think anyone mentioned it yet? Yeah, it's a separate application which is maybe not optimal, and I didn't find much information about it yet, but looks like it might make instrument building a lot easier. I guess similar 3rd party software exists, but also nice to have something straight from NI.

Why would they completely throw away the original layout/look of Massive? The new one looks like Blocks. I’m sure it sounds good, great even, but why throw out the baby with the bath water?
This looks like someone made a cool wavetable oscillator in Reaktor, put a bunch of blocks together and pitched it to the executives as “hey, instead of actually updating Massive, we can just throw the name on this and call it good.”
Couldn’t even keep the color scheme or the logo?

Also, the lack of hi DPI updates makes the upgrade dead to me. I’ve already stopped using almost all of their plugins, simply because they look terrible. I know it’s the sound that matters, but when I can get a similar sound out of something that looks good and is easier to work with, then yeah.

Yeah, looks great and affordable. If it works well with FL Studio 20, I would be interested in A61 next year.chk071 wrote:Hm, i just realized they have a new keyboard series, starting from 149 €.That's great news.
Actually, almost certain now that i get the A49.
Yes, same question here. I seriously hope it has.chk071 wrote:Anyone a idea whether or not the A-series keyboards have Aftertouch? I doubt it, because it is not mentioned anywhere, but, would be nice to have confirmation.

Thank you so much.mickbenjamins wrote:Loopop has you covered:LoveEnigma18 wrote:Yes, but I was asking particularly about the MK3 model. From the looks, it looks much better than before and is stripped down version of Maschine MK3. I will look at it in detail, but I am already hoping to get it this Black Friday.EvilDragon wrote:Yeah, well, the "micro" is really a good introduction into the world of Maschine, yes. That's why they made it, I'd assume.

The new products from Native Instruments are disappointing.
- Komplete Kontrol A series and Maschine Micro with one tiny screen
- The Symphonic Series are part of Komplete (NI said they wouldn't do that... )
- Kontakt 6: wavetable, debugger, some effects... Granular? Sampling?
- Massive X... One blurry screenshot

It’s the full symphony series. And the rest of the expansions.Caine123 wrote:Whats the difference from ultimate vs ultimate ce?

Upgrade from 11U is $599, LOL! As far as I can tell, the only difference between 12U and 12CE is in symphonic stuff and a bunch of maschine expansions. There's not even much difference between 11U and 12U.Caine123 wrote:Whats the difference from ultimate vs ultimate ce?

Given the lackluster Kontakt upgrade, I'll wait for a sale and then get the standard upgrade, I like 11U, but I intended to only upgrade it every four versions or so. I might even just wait for 13 on the standard upgrade TBH. Talk about meh! I'm not all that excited about anything in this update.

Basically, you get more (a ton more) Machine expansions, and the full Symphonic Series (not the Elements).Caine123 wrote:Whats the difference from ultimate vs ultimate ce?

Yeah but I’m sure Massive X will allow that. So I don’t understand adding wavetable stuff in kontakt unless it was resynthesis. They have synth stuff all over the place. Now they are making kontakt a synth? It’s just weird. ThatEvilDragon wrote:That information is classified - but it's a really long and unfortunate story.
