I might even just wait for 13 on the standard upgrade TBH. Talk about meh! I'm not all that excited about anything in this update.
I'm with you. Given what's there, it's better for me to upgrade the regular Komplete than the Ultimate, which just gets me basically more Maschine Expansions (which I'm not even interested on... at all).

Thx! So it seems only more xps. Have to check those but mostly i use the basic versions included.
And the whole Symphony Series! (Not essentials version of it.)

Except some developers who are eager to use that functionality in all sorts of uncommon ways. :)

After checking with whats new, only Crush Pack is something that i really want, Kinetic Toys (i love the Treats version) Kontakt 6 and Massive X looks interesting, but for the rest, ehm not very. But i think this is very personal as for example for me jump from v10 to 11 was quite essential and i have zero regrets as i do use quite the stuff that comes with K11U only. Ill pass this update.

In case it helps, from Komplete 11 to Komplete 12 you get these:

KONTAKT 6
MASSIVE X
TRK-01
DISCOVERY SERIES: MIDDLE EAST
SCARBEE RICKENBACKER BASS
SESSION STRINGS 2
SUPERCHARGER
MOD PACK
REPLIKA
DRIVER
10 Expansions

You might already have Supercharger, Phasis, Replika, Driver through gifts. I have

I am not updating/upgrading my Komplete 11 just yet, as I am missing only things that I probably don't need. I also have the CrushPack and Expansions I like.

Well upgrading to Collectors edition is something to consider then :)

Hihi good to see that I'm not the only one who can see that it's BS marketing :)
What's the better way to sell new product than calling it a successor of super popular older synth? Even that there's absolutely no connection between them :hihi:

I mean, it may be a really cool and nice synth on it's own but cheeky marketing like this is underwhelming. Especially when someone is already a user of Reaktor Blocks.

I want to hear examples of this 'next gen sound engine' because teaser didn't show anything like that

Except it's not made from Reaktor Blocks, just made to look in similar vein. It's a standalone synth unrelated to Reaktor.

i listened when you first said it, even if no one else will

Oh dear, considering I didn't even realise that I had updated from Komplete 9 to 11, I guess that shows how much I still use NI stuff, so
I guess I will be giving this one a miss.

Is the harddisk K12 is shipped on unlocked, so you can simply install
individual choices when you want to, from the harddisk itself,
without Native Access downloading anything?
Cheers

Maybe some top sound designers will be able to sell this to me, but this feature (and many more types of synthesis) already exist in Falcon and Halion and to be honest I haven't seen a lot of people get over excited about it....I really want Kontakt to be my go to 'sampler', but maybe I am being selfish as I also own Falcon!
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!
