At least I have that right with FLS. :)

As of AcidPlanet,....that's one of my new radio stations!! For some of us that are sick with the mainstream, acidplanet is the way to go. :D

This comment bears refinement:

I DO use Orion Plat for making my OWN loops..I'm not really aquanted with Orion's Sampler, but I DO know it has a built in slicer that works pretty nice..

For pure looping, acid is better. HS2004 lets you use loops, adjusting both pitch and tempo. However, you have far less flexibility in modifying pitch.

HS2004 is roughly equivalent to Sonar2, except without Cyclone or some control panel interfaces.

Judging by the comparsion charts, I may need them both. Damn I hate to have too many hosts. :x

As if Audition, FL Studio, & Project5 wasn't enough to deal with already. :?

With what you already use, you may need neither. Try the demo of acid and decide if it benifits your workflow. You already have a number of programs. Won't project 5 work with loops? Project 5 and FL do midi. Audition does audio recording and editing. I'd be sure before you add something new.

Its not like either one of those takes too much space on your hard drive- so keep them both. I have software I dont use installed, because you knever know when creativity will strike, or when someone you know will have a project created in one of those apps...
