Element Crashes Picking ASIO/Jackrouter

Hi, I'm updating my setup from a Pedalboard 2 host. I tried Minihost Modular, which although it works, I couldn't get it to load at start, and came across Element as an alternative that seems to be supported for development, so thought I'd give it a go as an alternate VST host.

I'm using Jack Audio with SAR which works excellently giving me great routing options as well as a plethora of options with Ableton etc.

The trouble is, after choosing ASIO as the "Audio device type" whenever I try and pick "Jackrouter" from the list of "Device" entries, Element immediately crashes.

The other ASIO options work ok (ASIO4ALL v2, Focusrite USB ASIO, and Synchronous Audio Router - although this latter one does give "cannot start device" error, but at least does not crash).

Is there anyway I can investigate this any further, as currently it's completely blocking me from using Element.

Many thanks if you can help.

I've known JackRouter to crash hosts (pretty reliably) if JACKd isn't running first.
