*every* (yes, every) sequencer except fruity can be set to play a certain number of neasures over and over. while it is playing this repeated section you can switch into "record" mode and add data.

since the advent of software sequencers on the c-64, atari and amiga computers, this has been a standard feature.

fruity does not have it.

so all the talk about nunaced ehancements to envelope shapes and 32-bit processing to me is very, very funny when they can't even achieve something recognised as standard more than 15 years ago

beware imageliners, beware lest your hubris on this issue one day tumble down your empire ! :-o

Tracktion can't do it while recording audio and doesn't offer a count-in when recording midi

im past begging for loop/overdub in FL :x

i'd rather just hear about things we can look forward to

not fantasys that could never happen

it's like asking a dead horse to run the race :help:

and bitching i think drives the developers from the thread .... :hihi:

imageline know we want that,it's been said to be not possible without re-writing FL <---thats what i got from what was stated.

so in reality what is the chances of that happening?
if something isn't going to happen i dont want to hear about it,i'd rather hear about what is!

i agree with you. however if you read my posts again you'll realize i'm not actually asking for loop recording or any other feature. i'm merely suggesting that they might save everybody some headache if they were to address this never-ending issue on their support FAQ.

Q.: When are you gonna implement loop-recording and overdub?

A.: Never! You stupid users might think it's important but it's not.

Thanks Jens! See you on next week's "how to loop recording in FLS?" thread! :)

imageline are usually good at dishing out the abuse, but on the loop recording issue they simply can't stand the heat so they've exited the kitchen

pah! contempt :P

Post

that's cause they don't want to bother with such a useless request.

us complaining/asking/begging/bitching/pleading/moaning does nothing so?

why run the developers from the thread? :help:

will you finally be able to change the skin?
maybe a nice red color?
that'd be great

a Candy Apple Red FL Studio?
