Hilarious.

He likens Jimi Page and Robert Plant to the guy who is in love with the smell of his own farts.

:hihi:

Oh, I'm sure there could be plenty... Something about shitting in the instruments of other bands while on tour, so I've heard.
A well-behaved signature.

My experience has been very different. I worked my ass off in the 1990s as a teenager and young adult to get recording gear, learn it, make my own music. Recorded music was worth something.

And when I finally started achieving something along came the internet and made recorded music worthless. I cannot tell you how depressed that made me. Along with other depressing things that happened.

But it's the way things are, and one either adapts or dies. Mwa ha ha! Free it is! And on the good side, there is soooooo much quality music for free the listener in me is in complete heaven. :D

At the same time I think there is a lot less good music as well because the financial drive is not there anymore for artists or labels. Labels can no longer afford to invest in a band and cultivate talent.

Few days ago I stumbled upon the question:

When has ever somebody unknown made money from selling music?

I personally dont know anybody.

Then I realised that I just want to have freedom and release what I want. Piece for piece.

For this situation digital distribution is a gift.

Realising this tinkled my boxes and made energy flowing which was holding back....
