Hi!

What sampler do you use? Choose the one you like best if you use more than one.

I think these Poll could be of great use for developers, and users.

GigaStudio3 is da bomb - when it doesn't bomb that is

In actuality GS3 is a great sampler and runs well. It does have some "issues" but not more than some of the other newest platforms. And hopefully Tascam will get those fixed sooner than later.

ReWire support works great through Tracktion. Fantastic sounds and impressive streaming polyphony. On my modest Athlon 2400+ with older IDE100 drives, I can get over 200 streams going.

didn't vote.

1) Halion was my first VSTi, i got it before Kontakt was even announced
upgraded to Halion2 (not Halion3)
i like it's ease of use.

2) Kontakt came with NI Komplete but i haven't mastered it yet
looks pretty powerful!

3) for drums, DR-008!

4) ordered Garritan Personal Orchestra last week

5) my energyXT will have a sampler soon...

6) no matter how tempting Emulator-X looks, i'm not gonna buy a 6th sampler!

To all Kontakt users;

Do you have the latest version of Kontakt or do you count your Kontakt driven ROMpler as Kontakt?

Maby I have to do another poll with Kontakt versions questions...

I do not think the poll is stupid, why is it stupid?
I regret that I did not include more options but all voters could easily chose "Other" sampler and tell what sampler in a reply to the tread.

The reason fot 3 HALion options is that is critical to see for us as developers what version is mostly in use.

About Halion 1-3-: What significant difference is there between the different version which isn't there e.g. between Kontakt1 and Kontakt1.5 or between VSampler2.75 and VSampler3?
