The sale on this library brings this into the realm of the possible. Can those who own it please advise if it is worth the current $99 price? How does it compare to other (seemingly) similar libraries such as Audiofier Abstrung, Wide Blue Sound Eclipse, Audiomodern Paths?
Thanks!
Thanks!

If you don´t own any other Sample Logic libraries yet, it´s a marvellous addition to any "cinematic atmospheres"-palette, and quite different from anything non-SL. Easily worth the $99, imho.
If you own 1-2 other newer Sample Logic libraries already (Morphestra, Cinemorphx), it´s pretty much more of the same though.

Its the only sample logic library I own (cause of the prizes in the past) and I got it in a comparabel deal years ago. And I can only say: I have so much stuff in this "category" and I so often after trying out dozens of libraries come back to this that I just forbid myself to use it .
This is really marvellous stuff, nothing against wide blue sounds (I have the orbit only), but thats lightyears inbetween these, not the same league. I love Audiofier stuff but thats for the "plings" more and Xosphere is really XOSPHERE in sound . Just the one stuff you need in the background to give you the athmosphere, ambience, general pad you need to then add that marvellous Audiofiers plucks and strings and.....

I really wish I could demo it first. That is a lot of money and I have bought other libraries where I regretted it soon after.
Also I have Lunaris already, is this more of the same of that?

Soundwise it is not comparable in any way to Lunaris but its hard to describe the difference, its just something you have to hear. Apart from totally different sounds I would say Lunaris is really specialised on "Pads" and in this corner unbeatable while Xosphere has a wider soundpalette (Athmospheres, Ambient, rhythmic movement) and more possibilities (at least in case of presets, I think in the right hands Lunaris might produce more comparable results).
Sadly not even the sample logic try pack (which is not free) contains any Xosphere patches, so its really a hard decision.
