The Guitar Pro tab is made for Eb Tuning.
So I transpose it.
Two options come up.
Do you want to transpose the track in the new tuning?
a) Yes
b) No
If I choose "a) Yes" the notation is wrong but the pitches are correct so it sounds alright.
If I choose "b) No" the notation is for Eb so the notation is wrong.
How to fix this issue?
I use Guitar PRO 5 because of its simplicity. Are the later versions OK with piano notes?
Thanks

So it's not like if you transpose one step up to E - that also have to change key to E?
Thinking if contradicting conditions to GPP - you have to change on two places.
Or A) is ok, you say that transpose outgoing notes - but keep notation.
Guessing a bit here...

To my knowledge, Guitar Pro doesn't change the song's key if you transpose notes. That you'll have to do manually. That's my only guess as to what's going on.
