Soundcloud is dead.. because of Spotify for artists?
Spotify for Artists is only available by invitation to a few hundred US-based independent artists. So I think it's a bit too early to speak of Spotify as a competitor to Soundcloud.
Is Soundcloud dead because of financial problems? I don't know. Yes, they have a problem with their business model and it seems that they only stay alive because of money from some investment groups.

It's actually quite interesting that Soundcloud has become more similar to Spotify in recent years and now Spotify tries to be like Soundcloud. Both companies had problems generating sufficient revenue in the past. Maybe they should join forces and become a best of both worlds enterprise (commercial streaming + independent artist platform).

everybody has a funny dialect, that's why I write in mine...like lobsta or chowadah, cause that's how how I say it...the other day I made some fish and I had a lot, I texted my neighbor to see if she had dinnah yet and I said ju eat?fluffy_little_something wrote:Yet another guy with a funny dialect that likes to see himself talk on Youtube
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Thinking about it, it is probably an accent rather than a dialect...
Anyway, I never really liked SC, so I don't care if it ceases to exist.
If I had anything to publish, I would do it on YT. Is it still not possible to publish audios only? Kind of makes sense on a video platform, but still, would be nice.
Or an audio sibling for YT, like YouAir, YouFM, YouAM etc.
