My memory may be tricking me, but I seem to remember a free or lite version of Ableton Live.
I can't find anything on the website, though :(

A voice tells me it was released for a remix competition or similar.

Does anyone remember this?

Am I going mad???? :)

there certainly was some kind of free thing; I downloaded it too, in conjunction with some sort of competition. don't remember much other than that

There's a light version yes. It comes with the Remote 25 Audio for example. It's version 3, and is stripped down.

the stripped-down version of live is called "live delta" It comes with many m-audio products, along with "reason adapted".
I don't think it is sold separately, but maybe you can buy it cheaply from someone who bought the hardware but already has the full version of live...

probably the live4 public beta that was a download for everyone (but time restricted).

I got Live Delta last year it with m-audio audiophile usb.

It came with a demo of reason (no save), that was a bummer, would have liked the stripped down version of that too.

I'm a student, no money for buying that kind of thing right now.

Hey Guys,

I got Delta with me FW410 and just lastweek mailed to find out the upgrade price...

"You have a delta version of Live and therefore are eligible to upgrade
to the full version for the special price of EUR/USD 299 (download
version) or EUR/USD 329 + shipping (boxed version)."

Funny enough at the moment $299 = €245 (ish)... humm

Anywho - check out Remix. Quite good if thats all you need and if you can track it down!

Cheers,
Dave

Cool Scuzz!

Its a neat little programme aint it!

I have spent far too much time messing round in it - far more time than the price would indicate :)

Have Fun!!!
