Hello
Usually I am not much into Hip Hop and RnB. It is music and I like at such but I do seek it out and know just about nothing about its State of Art since the late 90s. However, the other day I looked for some live videos of a Danish group because I heard the music is made solely with an MC909. The rapper/singer is known as Lucy Love and she is one of Denmark's few Hip Hop stars. Watching the vid, I was rather taken by her "live-power": Her immediate connection with the audience, how every possible move she made was one with the rhythm and rhymes and how she radiates strength and self-determination that leaves no macho male rapper anything behind but even goes beyond, imo. I know there must be other rappers like her, especially in the states but as said, I am blank with regard to who they may be. So if you have some cool vids with some stars of your knowledge, could you plz post them, so I may enjoy this kind of female energy?
Here is the vid that got my attention:
Thanks in Advance

Cardi B is making some noise lately. I have listened to Nicky Minaj but female rappers are not much on my music listening.

To be honest, many of the rap today doesn't have values and is like a bad influence for the new generations, the lyrics has a message so ones has to wonder if something is useful and wise or the message is just bad influence for the people.

Hey
Thanks for posting. Some girl power around. Some more sexualised than other. I recall Missy Elliot occasionally made something little more wierd and aggressive but maybe my memory fails me? Whether they tend toward pop or not does not really matter in this context but I do wonder if there are something like female gangsta rappers?
