Complete Synth History

3. What developers you have worked for: Current owner and lead sound designer at Robust American Patches. Brands I've worked with: Nickelodeon, TV Land, Mute Records, Korg etc...Korg France acquired some of my presets for release with the Prologue Osc-16. All the synth sounds heard in this video were created by Robust American Patches.

(This interview got pretty mangled in the translation process...The complete interview is also here.)

5. Preferred synthesis method (if any): Good old Subtractive Synthesis will do any time.

6. Any other comments about your work you would like to present.
I've been into synths and sound design since I can remember. I learned to play "Cars" by Gary Numan in 1979. I got my first toy synth in 1980. (The Sound Gizmo by Fundimensions) This is truly a labor of love for me.

Robust American Patches is a brand new venture (only 4 months old) and I couldn't be more pleased with the way things are going. So far I have released preset collections for the Korg Prologue and more recently, the Sequential Prophet Rev2. Currently under construction: Banks for the OB-6, Subs 37, and the SE-02.
