Didn't People Like Us sample that "Going too far... we don't go too far!" from them?

now at least i know, but this turns an already depressing day into a really black one, and the title of the thread a eerily well suited one.
Adi himself turned into a beautiful loser...

Damn.
That's bad news.

Um, so, no new Psychophysicist stuff for now, I guess.

Groet, Erik
Andrew was working on mixing new Antigroup material at one point, and there were rumours of a new DVA in the works, but I can't verify it. I don't know if they'll ever top Buried Dreams anyway, which was an almost perfect fusion of form and content - that was, IMHO, their strongest lineup - Man Amplified was good but not great. Sign sounded almost like a cover band. The very early records were good too. I get the impression that Newton is really only as good as his collaborators - bit of an ego too, as the liner notes to Collective will attest.

Oh that's lovely stuff... I think someone else here was raving at me to listen to them a while back. Griels, or Marco, or maybe Tris... or maybe you. I guess I should listen better the first time. I think I'll go dig up that Amazon gift cert I got for my birthday... 8)

Oh, and Donks, you really should check out Archers of Loaf... you'll love 'em, I'm sure.

I made a couple of samples since I couldn't find any on the net... they're cut to 1:30 and ogg format, to avoid future appearances on kazaa...

Hihi, sounds a bit like Pavement! :D Good use of the nastyizer on the guitars! :hihi:

It was probably Putte going on about the Clientele by the way, it was him who got me into them.

Like Tuxedomoon, Minimal Compact is trying to make a come-back.

Hehe, I used to share a house with one of em (Emlyn 'the boy' Jones), and me, him and Joe Derv used to be in some errrm 'supergroup' called detritus in the 90s.

I got out of Leeds 6 though, to the beauty and tranquility of Little London.
