Was demoing Icarus and what a marvel, it seems able to do all sort of synthesis, wavetable editor with lot of options, additive, sample import... I definitely need this synth.
the only question I have is why doesn't have more OSC/layers and more effects slots, yeah is already awesome, but why not?
and why some people seems to have some mixed feelings with the synths? I was considering electrax too
Tone2 sale... which one should I get?

oh and awsow would be awesome to affect individual Osc/layers effects instead of all and each of the Osc/layers has his own effects slots, would be great features. overall I think that I love this synth.

Electra v2.7 by Tone2 it can sound as analog as a MiniMoog, Fairlight, Oberheim, etc and even better if you want, it all depends on how you treat the output sound, try adding a Pultec Equation or Rule Tec Heritage Pro filter and you'll see what I'm referring to, no artist or musician uses the the raw output sound of a synthesizer, always pass it through compressors and equalizers, always. It is the good seasoning of a good salad ... go ahead and you will see how your opinion of the Electra sound will change forever, it is one of the best virtual synthesizers ever created ... unique. 
, but yeah I should prove Electra.
