Wow, this is exactly what I'm in the market for actually. Will be interesting to see how it behaves outside of FL Studio.

I was hoping they'd make the LCD a little smaller so it's even more difficult to read the text. :o

On a serious note, congrats to you FL Studio peeps. I know you've been waiting a long time for something like this.
Win 10 | Ableton Live 11 Suite | Reason 13 | i7 3770 @ 3.5 Ghz | 16 GB RAM | RME Babyface Pro| Akai MPC Live 3 & Akai Force | Roland System 8 | Roland TB-3 | Roland MX-1 | Dreadbox Typhon | Korg Minilogue XD

Looks pretty solid, with some nice features. 8)

I see one glaring opportunity they missed, and that was turning it into a qwerty keyboard... a hot button could link the top row of buttons as function keys, seeing as there is only 4 rows.

Also curious to see how well this will work as a generic controller for say Roland 808 VST
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Since this is the first dedicated controller for FL Studio, I can't help but compare it to Ableton's first dedicated controller which was the APC 40 mk1. I still have my APC 40, but in all honesty, it doesn't have the integration that my Push 2 has. I can't help but feel that this may only be the beginning, and that more integrated controllers may be in FL's future. The only thing is, Ableton seems to have severed their relationship with Akai as far as controllers are concerned, since Push doesn't have Akai's logo on it at all. I wonder if Image Line will go the same route in the future.

hmmm.....

i really cant see the point of this. it looks to me like everything it does would be easier to do with your regular mouse/keyboard/midi controller set up.

i mean, unless you plan on using it for performing....but then...fls is terrible for that anyway. dont get me wrong....fls is my daw of choice and i love it...but, its just not for performances.

on the other hand....i did just get a deluge for the main purpose of being a sequencer and i have that running through fls...so its not like i dont see any value in this at all. though it certainly cant do what the deluge can in terms of sequencing and such. but...its also 600 bucks less than a deluge.

"seamless integration" sounds a bit optimistic...i already saw a video where the guy had to use the "link to controller" function and move a knob to get it to control the included image line eq. thats not seamless...thats already how you have to do it with any other controller. "seamless" would be open any image line plug and its all set up and ready to go.

i dont know....fls is a daw...the perfect hardware controller for it is already what you use to control your computer. tell me its easier/faster to select a bunch of patterns and move them over or whatever with this than it is with your mouse.....it cant be.

but hey...i hope people like them and they sell a bunch.

The knobs have I think 4 options, two of which are assigned and teo of which are reserved for “User” which means they allow you to map them to whatever you want. Makes more sense to set it up that way, rather than having it already set up for each plug. There are so many options and permutations for each plug, just let the user set them up with a simple right click.
