1. it will load D2 presets
2. yes
3. it has new filters and other features that affect the sound.

If I may ask...

Dune 3 will be microtuning capable?

Any more synthesis methods? sampling? granular? physical modelling?..

Audio In?

Multitimbral? Aux outputs?

Same mod matrix? extended somehow? (being audio rate capable, even more "modularity" would be nice)

Thanks :-)

Oh wow! Can't wait! I just really hope that D3 has a better workflow than D2. Well, and a reasonable CPU usage also. Anyhow, I think it is 99.99% I will upgrade from D2 whenever it is released :hihi:
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

thank you :)

Microtuning is the thing I really miss. Interested in how far they go with wavetables. Thanks a lot.

Will there be layers mixer (pan/vol/mute for each layer plus master)?

Post

you can do it inside the mod matrix
there is no mute but a solo button

Multitimbral?
Wow - I haven't thought about a plugin needing to be multitimbral in like... 15 years or longer? Can't we just create as many instances of a plugin that we need and combine them in your DAW? I know Reason, Bitwig, and most other DAW offer this sort of feature.
Win 10 | Ableton Live 11 Suite | Reason 13 | i7 3770 @ 3.5 Ghz | 16 GB RAM | RME Babyface Pro| Akai MPC Live 3 & Akai Force | Roland System 8 | Roland TB-3 | Roland MX-1 | Dreadbox Typhon | Korg Minilogue XD

I also dont understand the need of multitimbral plugin in a software world.

I dont even use Kontakt multiple outs...its much more convinient to open a new plugin :)

Well, in the case of Dune it makes sense to me. Sometimes I play with multiple layers and have the desire for more control over the sequence and the sound of each layer.
Multitimbral synths are useful too when you want to have only one instance of the plugin at sight and make multiple tracks with it. I find it useful and comfortable sometimes.
