Hey Everett, can you lock the tuning so you can go through presets with a fixed tuning? That's really important, there's actually a KVR thread just about that right now : viewtopic.php?f=1&t=512345

If so, you might want to post on there and hype your release!

Very excited to try Fathom for the first time since buying it. Top work. :)

Like monomaker, it was quite a while since I used Fathom (due to a computer crash and then lots of day job work). I have a question: I have purchased v 2.11. The download link I have still points to that version. What should I do now? Use that version? Upgrade? If so, then how?

I understand the pricing strategy has changed a few times and the name Fathom Pro has appeared since then, so I don't really know what to do...

Thanks, and sorry for such a boring question! :D

Have you actually tried clicking that link to see what version asks to be downloaded.. I think my email link points to the version I bought but downloads the latest version. I did this yesterday after quiet a few months not upgrading )))

Thanks, yes. It says 2.11 on the website and when I click the zip file download I get a message saying "Do you want to download Fathom_Pro_211.zip?" It's 130 MB.

I haven't actually downloaded it though (because of the file size), but I assume it's actually 2.11.

I'm trying to showcase Fathom as a good UI example in an instructional video, so I'd really like to find out what to do now. :)

I download from my email and get the latest version... (although my email says ver 2.00, the link reports latest ver for D/L)
When I look on the website it shows the current version. The only thing I can suggest is to just visit the website (not from any email) and look for the download there.

Hi, thanks. The problems continue. I found the (public) 2.20 download at https://www.fathomsynth.com/updates

I then used my password for 2.11 to unzip the file. It did unzip into a bunch of files; however, my unzip program (7-zip) says that every file had the wrong password. So now I can see the dll but I can't open it in my DAW, because the DAW says it's not recognized as a valid dll (I am trying Fathom.dll on Win 64 bit).

What's more, I can't open the quickstart guide as that also had apparently the wrong pw... Thus, I have no idea of how to get this right (in case there's more info in the quickstart guide).

IIRC v2.11 was the last version that used the older password, you then had to pay the $2.50 update to get a new password for unzipping v2.12 onwards

You need to PM Everett

Hi. Sorry for the delay.

The KVR link should always go to the latest version even if you bought it a while back, so I'm not sure why that is not working.

But you can always go to the Seaweed Audio download page:
https://www.fathomsynth.com/updates

I sent you a PM with the password.

2.21 with Microtuning will be out tomorrow.

My situation is exactly like SparkySpark's. Wrong password and then I installed a bunch of empty files (like an idiot) over my existing ones. Not sure what my last version was because it seems like the version numbers started going backwards at some point.
Just a touch of EQ and a tickle of compression

To get the new password you must send a valid purchase receipt to the following email:
support@fathomsynth.com

You can also get it if the email you send the request from exactly matches a purchase email in the master list, otherwise you won't get a response to the request.

The version numbers have never gone backwards, although it might look like it if you compare for instance 2.3.0 to 2.20.0.

Just doing final testing on 2.21 with Microtuning, will be doing the build later today with a release tomorrow. I'm also adding a global setting to keep the loaded tuning regardless of the preset tuning.

I will do that. Thanks. And that is exactly what I did with the version numbers since the files don't have the dots. :dog:
