ProFET sounds incredible and very different from all my other distortion plugins and stompox emulations.
Actually I didn't even try it on guitars yet... only on a few aggressive synth bass patches and it was pretty remarkable

Haha, yeah - strings at your fingers provide the most direct control
of sounds - able to make it very wild + freaky wicked!
If you want such a result with a synth it's more troublesome IMO.

Not at all if you have an expressive controller like Linnstrument, Seaboard, Soundplane, Continuum...
