Also Byome not only goofs up volume controls in Reaper but remains locked to outputs once forcing Reaper closed.

Bundles tend to max out at around $500 but in reality go on sale for less than that. I am thinking $299 discounted to $229 for the opening. That puts it in the Soundtoys range (given all the ways Soundtoys gets discounted / upgrade deals). Either way a bit too expensive for me unless I can sell off a fair bit more of the gear I want to sell (anyone want an unused Quneo? I can post anywhere in the world for not that much).

Whatever the price ends up being, it’s a fine mutieffect rack that anybody should be able to get tons of mileage out of. The sidechain input for the modulators really opens up lots of cool mixing tricks ala ( electric guitar loses low frequencies and gains stereo width and movement whenever the bass guitar comes in, but has chunky distortion and an upfront sound while the bass is not playing). Stuff like that is possible just with the standard follower and a sidechain. Using the spectral follower you can get really bonkers. This is definitely gonna be my “quick version” of mxxx when I really need to get all up in a sound.

I'm thinking 149/199 - which would be too much for me. Not testing it for this reason... arrgh. I am a pessimist. Ugh. PAs prices. I'm happy with Unfiltered Audio they now have a company creating plugins which do not have to be subject of belief only.

I'm not too worried about the price, the more I've been using this thing the more I feel it's a serious must-have. It's incredible how much you can do with this Swiss-army knife plugin.

The low-cpu usage and high quality DSP is seriously good.

It would be nice if it was at least $150 USD but if it's more I'll just have to save.

Great & fun plugin, no doubt. Lot of possibilities, can't argue with that. But the only effects I'm really interested are mostly the granular ones (the more traditional effects already covered by many other plugins). Byome's granular effects sound very good, indeed. But I won't buy Byome just for the granulation, since I know UA are working on a pure granular plugin and I'm pretty sure it's going to have those grain effects implemented into it + more probably. So I’ll pass for now but man, it's quite a powerful fx monster.

Does anyone have a link to the BYOME individual installer?
I don't want to use their installation manager.

Once you have an account with Plugin Alliance and have bought a plugin from them you can install/re install your plugins from your manage registered plugins page.In Byome's case since you cannot but it yet that feature is not available, besides the installation manger is fine.

IMO there‘s NO problem to use the PA installer. If you don‘t want to use it, just let it be...
