the remarkable thing is that there's a recording of this
forget that Bach they sent out on those space probes, this is what they should have sent

THANK YOU, DT! I heard this at a seminar last year and I've always meant to find it! (And yes, it's supposed to be funny, sorry.) I figure I'll play it on the stereo at the Needed Family Christmas Reunion--I'll tell my cousins it's me singing...will they give me an honest critique???? :D

Hehe, well it had crossed my mind, but the performance at the end is such that it doesn't matter wether he's taking it seriously or not; it truly is a work of beauty. The Lord taketh all sorts of c**ts after all.

There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

HOLY FRIGGIN NIGHTMARES BATMAN! :-o

That's so f**king awful, it made the neighboors cat spray me - and she WAS neutered! :tantrum:

If I'm ever near the karoke bar that spawned this reject of hell and purgatory to seed the earth with these awful vocals - remind me to burn the place down, with him in it. :hihi:

I thought 'Electricians Day' by Liam Lynch was about as bad as it got. Well Tugger, leave it to you to show me how much worse it could get.

Oh bejesus holy mother of Mary. :-o

Hmmm, you should have saved it for the Christmas cover contest. :hihi:

Are you people crazy, or are you just kidding?

The man behind is DeDeWe Stratmann, and quite a lot of people over here like him a lot. (the first 2 albums were brilliant)

Sure, the singing in this song isnt the best DeDeWe can do, but as its a bootleg version it was never meant to be released. The final version was better sung .. definately.

tstststs .. you people ..

really DeDeWe?

and that's a press shot? not something the local authorities snapped?

is it simply a matter of bad monitors
that classic Linda McCartney (may she rest in peace) back up singing comes to mind

but DT is right
the end is where the brilliance shines through
that spoken bit, the repeated phrase, that pause for breath and entering the harmonic fray once more
very Sinatra-like I thought

now there is a Rebeccas St James Xmas album with 'O Holy Night' complete with kick drum 4 on the floor chorus, but I rather like that version

It brings to mind Bertrand Russell's Why I am not a Christian

a real jewel!

it reminds me of an old song called "le minou de ma blond" [my girlfriend's pussy] (a guy talk about his girlfriend cat but you're never sure)

a local song that can get you crying like there's no tomorrow!
